Annotation

The article deals with the morphological processes in the Russian language in Lithuania, which are conditioned by linguistic contact. Morphology is considered to be a stable system оf the language, however the surrounding languages can cause a certain influence which reveals itself in specific grammatical forms. Their selection and survival in the language are conditioned by their communicative expediency.
