Annotation

. The article is focused on identifying the features of the representation of the concept “house/home” in the linguocultures of different countries in which Russian, English and Spanish are the official languages (Russia, England, Spain), as well as the countries that integrated English and Spanish culture in the process of colonization, preserving cultural values of their own people (Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Venezuela, Guatemala, Colombia, Ecuador, etc.); and also on the study of the possibilities of the concept “house/home” for the formation of students’ communicative and linguoculturological competences in the process of mastering Russian as a foreign language in multiethnic study groups. The concept “house/home” is one of the fundamental realities of culture, one of the most important linguistic and mental constants in any national concept sphere. As a material object, “house/home” serves as a man’s protection from the forces of nature and personifies his world; at the same time, it is an object for studying the spiritual life of the people, since all the most important categories of the picture of the world, recorded in various linguocultures, correspond to the concept “house/home”. Each nation has a special worldview and an inherent assessment of the world, however, due to the presence of universal values, the concept “house/home” has a similar representation in proverbs in Russian, English, Spanish. The study of the culturally significant concept “house/home” as a semantic code that captures national and cultural experience, which belongs not only to the individual, but also to the collective consciousness, contributes to strengthening of intercultural ties between peoples, as well as to stimulating interest in the educational process. Studying Russian as a foreign language, as a specific civilizational code of another people, systematic work with the paremiological fund of the Russian, English and Spanish languages allow foreign students to master information about the cultural specifics of Russian linguosociety, improve their understanding of universal values.
