Annotation
The analysis of three processes taking place in child speech during the period of mastering
the Russian language is presented in the article. The first process is connected with transition
from "pre-word" forms of speaking, in which the structures of paralinguistic phonetics are
used, to word based speaking, when both paralinguistic and linguistic phonetic means are used.
The second process takes place in the frame of the word based speaking period. It is connected
with transition from insulating type of language, where a syllable is the basic unit, to an
audiophoneme structure, where a phoneme is the main unit and a syllable becomes an autono-
mous rhythmic unit. The third process is connected with the child's transition from single level
phonological system in his (her) speaking activity to two levels phonological system.
On the one hand, it helps to understand and more accurately define some typological fea-
tures of interaction between syllables and morphemes in different types of texts related to dif-
ferent styles of the Russian language. On the other hand, it contributes to better understanding
of transition from insulating type of child speech to audiophoneme type from phonological
point of view. It also helps to define more precisely the period of time when these processes
take place.
The analysis is based on investigation ofchild speech development from the birth to the age
of 12-13.
