Annotation
The article is devoted to the image of Moscow in A.S. Pushkin's creative thought. Pushkin's Moscow is a real world of concepts, images, poetic and everyday life associations, it is a special geographical and cultural space, which forms its own city “text”. For Pushkin Moscow had always been a centre of the Russian State system, Russian spirituality, and centuries-old culture of Russian people. That is why the image of Moscow often appears in Pushkin's works quite in the spirit of folklore tradition.
