Annotation
The author analyzes the creative works of the popular playwright N. Kolyada, whose plays of the 1980s–1990s are considered in the article from the point of view of their three-level structure. Having represented Kolyada’s works as a multilevel system the researcher then points out some general images and motifs which penetrate the play-wright‘s dramatic ‘world’. Characters, conflict, genre specificity and the language of the plays of Kolyada are also analyzed
