The article deals with the topical issues of the study of the genre of lyric prose mini- The article deals with the topical issues of studying the genre of lyric miniature, or "poem in prose", and, in particular, the genre aspect of the nature of lyric emotion. tion and the linguistic means of its expression. The essay examines the peculiarities of the text, con-. associated with the dual nature of the genre in question, primarily the means of expressing the subjectivity inherent in lyric poetry. The features inherent in lyric poetry and prose are discussed. Considerable attention is paid to the analysis of lexical, phraseological, morphological, word-formation, and syntactic resources that create specifically expressive "poems in prose."
