Annotation
This article is devoted to the epitaph in its two forms, i. e. as monumental
inscriptions, and as a literary genre. Attention is drawn primarily to personal
pronouns and verb forms that indicate the perception of the author of the epitaph idea of death. The article identifies three models of the epitaph: factual,
tragic and fantastic. In terms of the outlook are opposed both structurally
and substantively.
