Annotation
The article deals with the question of the role of intertextuality in K.G. Paus- tovsky’s early prose. Reminiscences from B.K. Zaytsev’s prose and I.A. Bunin’s poetry in “The romanticists” novel are analyzed. A conceptual role of the latent citations is shown. The conclusion is drawn: there can be traced ideological and esthetic similarity between the works of the named authors. The hypothesis about the importance of intertextuality as a literary tool in K.G. Paustovsky’s poetics is put forward in the article.
