Annotation

In the article an effect of frustrated expectation is researched as a foundation of laugh using the materials of traditional children’s culture (adult’s folklore for children, children’s and teenager’s arts). The effect’s way of functioning is shown in several cases, such as: expectations of already known original text, already known genre model, defi- nite character of content, definite communicative situation. The connecting role of the effect of frustrated expectation for different genres is clearly exposed.
