Annotation
The paper focuses on the formation of idioms. The paper deals
with the difference between phraseological and idiomatic meanings, which
are commonly confused in linguistic literature.
The paper analyzes the features of phraseological units whose components are expressed by words with a concrete meaning and which are involved in the formation of idiomatic image.
