Annotation

The article deals with comparative aspects in the reception of the biblical text in the literature of the 20-21 centuries. The author actualizes foreign cultural issues in the development of the phenomenon of God-seeking in different national artistic models of the world and focuses on the conceptual role of biblical motifs and their author’s interpretation in the analyzed novels. The levels of correlation of the Biblical and Qur’anic texts in a number of analyzed foreign-cultural novels (Russian/Kyrgyz, Uzbek, Kazakh literature) allows us to reveal the specifi cs of the representation of “eternal themes” in the intertextual field of national artistic neo-myths, structured according to the principle of interference of ethnic mythologies of God-seeking. The author draws for analysis the following novels of writers - Ch. Aitmatov “The Scaff old” (the writer, correlated simultaneously with Russian and Kyrgyz literature), U. Khamdam “Rebellion and Humility” (modern Uzbek writer), R. Seisenbaeva “The Dead Wander in the Sands” (Kazakh writer).
